Laura Thomas is making Architectural Glass at the The Beaney Art Museum & Library, Canterbury

Laura Thomas divides her time between public art commissions, research and her freelance design consultancy for the home furnishings industry. She strives to push the expected boundaries of woven textiles and is particularly known for her ‘Resonate’ collection, where threads are encapsulated in acrylic resin to create sculptural objects. She has exhibited at Newport Museum and Art Gallery, ORIGIN, London Design Festival and London Fashion Week.
